On June 7 (Saturday), a train composition consisting of steam locomotive No. 16.27 and five passenger cars will depart from the station in Gorna Oryahovitsa at 09:55 and arrive in Tryavna at 11:40. Two stops are planned along the route - in Trapezitsa (10:13) and Veliko Tarnovo (10:19), where passengers can also board. Thanks to the cooperation with the Municipality of Tryavna, there will be special souvenir gifts prepared for the travelers in celebration of the city's holiday.
During their stay in Tryavna, the guests will have enough time for a walk and the opportunity to immerse themselves in the incredible Revival-era atmosphere of the city, which in the past was considered a center of craftsmanship and cultural development in Bulgaria. Visitors will be able to see the specially built fair for the holiday, located next to the train station, where local producers will present their products, as well as visit the old town, famous for its authentic old-time shops, where they can witness the process of woodcarving by contemporary master woodcarvers. The hosts have also prepared special entertainment for the youngest visitors.
The train departs from Tryavna in the opposite direction at 16:00, stopping in Veliko Tarnovo (16:59) and Trapezitsa (17:05), and arriving in Gorna Oryahovitsa at 17:25. The price of the round-trip ticket from Gorna Oryahovitsa to Tryavna is 42 leva for adults, including a reserved seat. For children up to 10 years old, the price is half - 21 leva. Tickets can be purchased from ticket offices and railway agencies at all stations in the country, as well as online through the reservation and ticketing system.
