The festive day at Hristo Botev Primary School - village of Bata began with laying a wreath at the monument of Hristo Botev in the school yard and raising the national and European flags. The solemn program continued in the hall of Narodno Chitalishe "Peyo Yavorov - 1924" in the village. The school principal Krasen Kostadinov delivered a solemn speech, in which he emphasized that June 2 is a holiday of the Bulgarian spirit, passed down from generation to generation. The secretary of the community center Kalina Krasteva also greeted the attendees.
Students from different grades presented a rich artistic program. Second and third graders recited poems about the poet, the majorettes performed exciting dance compositions, and sixth graders recreated the scene of Veneta and the mother's farewell with Botev. Fifth graders performed the song about the revolutionary setting off on the Danube, and first and fourth graders presented cheerful dances. The performance of the ethno club "Harmonia" with a modern and Thracian folk dance was also emotional.
The celebration ended with the musical-dance composition "Bulgariyo, Edinstvena Si Ti!" (Oh, Bulgaria, You Are Unique!), demonstrating deep respect for history, values, and gratitude to Hristo Botev, as well as the role of the school in patriotic and civic education. The community was invited to follow for more news and upcoming events in the Municipality of Pomorie.
