Training of the Early Warning System in Pomorie

On October 1, 2025, Wednesday, a training exercise of the early warning and notification system will be held in Pomorie Municipality. The event is scheduled for 11:00 AM and is organized in accordance with Art. 37, para. 2 of the Ordinance on the conditions and procedure for the functioning of the National System for Early Warning and Notification of the executive authorities and the population in case of disasters and for notification in case of air danger.

The training envisages the activation of the acoustic sirens on the territory of the municipality. Pre-recorded messages will be broadcast, intended for technical verification of the system. The signals will include "National alert signal", "National signal for the end of the alert", as well as a message for the end of the technical verification.

The training is expected to cause a sound impact within the municipality, which may provoke reactions among the population. The local authorities call on citizens to remain calm during the event. The aim is to avoid panic and stressful situations that could arise as a result of the activation of the sirens and the broadcasting of messages. The early warning system is a key part of protecting the population in case of disasters and air dangers, which is why regular training is essential for its effectiveness.
