Tragic accident on A1 "Trakia": Three killed, one injured

Three people lost their lives, and one is seriously injured in a brutal crash on the "Trakia" motorway, the Ministry of Interior announced. The tragic incident occurred at 9:06 this morning, casting a shadow over the serenity of the early morning.

According to initial data, the bloody drama unfolded at the 208th kilometer of the highway, in the section between Stara Zagora and Nova Zagora. Two cars collided, creating a scene of horror and destruction.

The injured passenger was immediately transported to a hospital, where medical teams are fighting for his life. At the scene of the tragedy, procedural and investigative actions are being carried out, aimed at establishing the exact causes that led to this unfortunate loss of human lives. As a result of the severe accident, the lane for traffic in the direction from Sofia to Burgas is completely closed, causing significant difficulties for travelers. The police have organized a bypass route for drivers, which passes along road II-66.
