Tragedy in Sunny Beach: Mother and Child in Critical Condition After ATV Crash

The condition of a 35-year-old woman and her 4-year-old son, who were hit by an ATV in the Sunny Beach resort on August 14, remains critical. The tragic incident, in which a total of six people were injured, has shocked the public and raised serious questions about the judicial system and the actions of law enforcement.

According to bTV, late last night the mother underwent emergency surgery for a severe brain hemorrhage. Despite the surgical intervention, her life is still in danger. The woman is in a coma in the intensive care unit of the Regional Hospital in Burgas. Her child is in the same ward, and their condition is described as serious due to the injuries sustained from the impact.

Details of the incident and victims

The crash, which occurred in the bustling resort complex, resulted in multiple casualties. In addition to the mother and child, four other people were injured, including two other children and an employee of a nearby hotel. Fortunately, their condition did not require prolonged hospitalization and they have already been discharged. However, the focus of attention remains on the critical condition of the mother and her son.

The culprit of the incident is 18-year-old Nikola Burgazliev, a 12th-grade student who only received his driver"s license at the beginning of the year. Despite the severe consequences, he was charged with causing medium bodily harm to more than one person, but was released under a measure of restraint of "house arrest." This decision provoked strong outrage among the victims" relatives, who described it as "scandalous."

Allegations of wrongful acts and doubts about justice
