Serious Accident in Burgas: Young Driver Crashes into Bus

In Burgas, on Saturday morning, a serious accident occurred, in which a young driver crashed head-on into a city bus. According to official sources, the 24-year-old man fell asleep behind the wheel of his car and entered the oncoming lane, causing a collision with a municipal vehicle.

Reporters from our agency note that the incident happened around 7:40 a.m. on "Industrialna" street, in the area opposite number 66, in the direction of "Vaya" street. A tense atmosphere prevailed at the scene of the accident. The sirens of the ambulances announced the early morning, and anxiety was read on the faces of those present.

Behind the wheel of the bus was a 48-year-old resident of Burgas, who, fortunately, remained unharmed in the impact. Witnesses of the incident share that the driver reacted adequately and remained composed.

The injured 24-year-old driver received injuries in the abdominal wall and chest. He was transported to UMHAT-Burgas for treatment. Doctors are adamant that there is no danger to his life. The case is within the competence of the competent authorities, which will establish the causes and circumstances that led to the incident.
