The incident in Burgas: Pursuit and accident

The early hours of the day in Burgas were marked by a serious traffic accident. Around 4:45 a.m. this morning, in the area of "Struga" street, a car with Sofia registration crashed following a police pursuit.

"The driver did not obey the stop signal and continued at high speed towards "Nikola Petkov" boulevard," reported the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior - Burgas.

The chase ended after the car went off the road and fell into the area of the underpass entrance between the "Zornitsa" and "Izgrev" residential complexes.

What happened to the passengers?

  • Three men, who identified themselves as Moroccan citizens, were found in the vehicle.
  • All three have been transported to UMBAL - Burgas for a thorough medical examination.
  • The driver of the vehicle left the scene and is currently in hiding.

At this hour, the actions of law enforcement officers to locate and detain the fleeing driver are continuing. The area remains under observation.
