Severe accident on Elhovo-Burgas road: Three injured, two in critical condition

A severe accident between a military UAZ vehicle and a passenger car on the main road Elhovo-Burgas resulted in serious injuries to three people, reported the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior-Yambol. The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon around 4:50 PM at the junction for the village of Malomirovo, causing temporary traffic restrictions in the area.

According to the spokesperson of the Yambol police, Tatyana Pavlova, "Traffic Police" teams were immediately dispatched to the scene to regulate traffic, along with investigators to carry out the necessary procedural and investigative actions. The arriving emergency medical teams transported the injured to the nearest hospital for urgent medical care.

Preliminary information indicates that two of the injured are military personnel who were traveling in the military UAZ, while the third victim is the driver of the passenger car.
