Rescue Operation in Burgas: Kitten Brick-In During Renovation

The rescue operation, initiated by animal rights activists, lasted for about two hours and involved several institutions. The operation began after it was discovered that a stray cat was trapped in an enclosed space under the stairwell of Block 411 in the "Meden Rudnik" complex during renovation work. This was announced by the press center of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior - Burgas.

According to animal rights activists, the cat had been meowing for several days. It had been walled up under the block, but it was impossible to remove it without disrupting the completed renovation. They alerted the officers of the Fourth Regional Police Department-Burgas, the Regional Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population" in the city, and the Municipality.

The construction company carrying out the repair began rescue operations, and the cat was freed.
