An official ceremony for the handover of power will be held at the Council of Ministers later today, the government press service announced. 

The ceremony will take place in the Granite Hall of the Council of Ministers and will begin after the members of the caretaker cabinet are sworn in in the National Assembly. 

President Iliana Yotova signed decrees today for the appointment of a caretaker government and the scheduling of elections for the National Assembly on April 19, the press secretariat of the head of state announced.

Yesterday, the candidate for caretaker prime minister Andrey Gyurov presented the composition of the government to President Iliana Yotova.
