The Slovak Prime Minister condemned the entry of Russian drones into Polish airspace, calling it a "serious incident with profound consequences".

WARSAW — Tensions in Eastern Europe have sharply escalated after Russian unmanned aerial vehicles penetrated deep into Polish airspace. The incident, which could have potentially catastrophic consequences for regional security, has triggered an immediate and sharp reaction from Slovakia, which expressed its full solidarity with Warsaw.

The drone attack marks a new, alarming escalation in the conflict and raises serious questions about the security of the borders of NATO member countries. Warsaw is not the only capital watching the situation with heightened attention. Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico released a sharp statement, condemning the aerial attack and emphasizing its seriousness.

Fico stated that what is happening is "a serious incident that could have far-reaching consequences." His words reflect the deep concern that prevails in the region. The Prime Minister stressed that it is "of the utmost importance to objectively establish whether this was deliberate or accidental, as well as who was controlling the use of the drones."

In addition to his critical words, Fico expressed firm solidarity with Poland and offered full cooperation from Slovakia to "find all the necessary answers." This act of support underscores the united front that is forming against Russian aggression in the region and shows the deep concern of neighboring countries.

Russia Denies Responsibility for the Incident

Despite international condemnation and undeniable evidence, Moscow was quick to deny any responsibility. The Russian Ministry of "Justice" released another one of its manipulative statements, claiming that "no strikes on Polish territory were planned." This misinformation fails to hide the alarming reality of what is happening and is in full contradiction with the international legal and moral norms that Russia systematically violates.
