Diplomatic visit to Paris
Prime Minister Rumen Radev visited Paris at the personal invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron to attend the traditional military parade on the occasion of France's national holiday. The Bulgarian delegation also includes Deputy Prime Minister Ivo Hristov and Minister of Foreign Affairs Velislava Petrova.
The parade at Place de la Concorde is a key moment for international cooperation, in which Bulgarian guardsmen are also participating this year.
Security and energy diversification
The visit is a continuation of the intensive dialogue between the two countries. During a recent meeting at the Élysée Palace, the leaders discussed:
- European security and defense policies.
- Diversification of energy supplies.
- Support for Ukraine.
- The European perspective of the Republic of North Macedonia.
Bulgaria and France continue to develop their bilateral cooperation in key sectors, strengthening their common positions within the EU.
