The regional election commission in Burgas has ruled that Pomorie and Karnobat will each get one mobile ballot box for the presidential and vice-presidential election on 25 October.
The decision follows requests from voters with permanent disabilities who want to vote with a mobile box. Pomorie received 11 requests. The commission's decision does not say how many came from Karnobat.
The main deadline for requests was 10 October. Anyone who became disabled after 9 October can apply to the mayor by 19 October at the latest, five days before the vote. The Burgas commission says applicants in this extra period must again attach a copy of their TELK or NELK medical board document.
In a separate decision, the commission authorised two of its members, Magdalena Atanasova-Chakarova and Neli Gyumova, to collect the printed paper ballots and the rolls of special paper for the Second Electoral District – Burgas. They will also sign the handover protocol.
