Major repairs are under way on the road from Lozenets to Oasis in Tsarevo municipality, and workers are also building a path for cyclists and pedestrians alongside it, Tsarevo mayor Marin Kirov said after visiting the site. After the stretch to Oasis, the council will also repair the street to Lozenets Central Beach.

The money for the Lozenets work comes from sub-measure 7.2, "Investments in the creation, improvement or expansion of all types of small-scale infrastructure", Kirov said.

In the next EU funding period, the council will put more than €1.5m into Ahtopol, the mayor also said.
