Renovation of "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" Primary School, Sveti Vlas

Nessebar Municipality is launching a large-scale renovation of the "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" Primary School in Sveti Vlas.

The project, titled "Renovation of "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" Primary School, Sveti Vlas – educational infrastructure of local importance in Nessebar Municipality", is funded under the Strategic Plan for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas of the Republic of Bulgaria for the period 2023-2027 and will significantly improve the learning conditions in the school.

Planned activities:

• Complete thermal insulation of the walls and roof space.
• Complete replacement of the joinery.
• Repair of the existing fence.
• New, modern heating system based on heat pump units (including the gym).
• Construction of a photovoltaic power plant.

As an additional ecological investment, the project provides for the construction of a photovoltaic power plant, providing the school with clean and cheap energy from renewable sources. This will reduce dependence on traditional energy sources and contribute to environmental protection.

The total investment amount is 848,377.92 BGN excluding VAT, with the funding being entirely grant-based. The project is implemented within Intervention "II.G.6 – Investments in basic services and small-scale infrastructure in rural areas" and has a maximum duration of 36 months. The completion of the renovation will significantly improve the learning conditions for students and contribute to higher quality education in Sveti Vlas. The renovation is expected to improve not only the comfort but also the attractiveness of the school, creating a more favorable learning environment.
