Record success: Over 15,000 visitors at the European Night of Museums in Burgas

A historic record for Burgas culture

The European Night of Museums has established itself as one of the most significant events for Burgas. With the participation of over 50 entities – including all museums in the region, private galleries, and cultural spaces, the city achieved a result that will be hard to surpass.

"This year, we set a record for turnout and synergy between cultural institutions throughout the entire Burgas region," the organizers share.

Top destinations in Burgas

The four expositions of the Regional Historical Museum in Burgas traditionally attracted the greatest interest, welcoming nearly 9,500 visitors. The rankings are led by:

• Archaeological Museum
• Ethnographic Museum
• Historical Museum
• Natural History Museum

Results in the region

The initiative covered the entire region – from Tsarevo to Nessebar. Here are the sites that gathered the most audiences:

• "Ancient Nessebar" Museum: 2,764 visitors
• Historical Museum – Pomorie: 1,234 visitors
• Historical Museum – Sredets: 550 visitors (total for the town and Deultum)

The success of the event is due to the excellent coordination with the "Burgas 2032" Foundation, which proved that cultural heritage is a powerful engine for the development of tourism in the region. The organizers are already planning an even larger program for 2027.
