The Regional Education Directorate in Sofia-region awarded distinguished teachers, principals, and students.

The solemn award ceremony for distinguished teachers, principals, and students from Sofia region was opened by the Head of the Regional Education Inspectorate (REI) Rositsa Ivanova. Deputy Minister of Education Emilia Lazarova presented "Neofit Rilski" certificates of the Ministry of Education and Science (MES), as well as plaques from the REI for high achievements, innovation, and pedagogical creativity.

Among the honored teachers were Miglena Batanova from Primary School "Vasil Levski" in Pravets, Yana Miteva from the Private Foreign Language High School "Chelopech", Biserka Petkova-Marinova from Primary School "Nikola Y. Vaptsarov" in Botevgrad, Bilyana Lalinska from the Mathematical High School "Acad. Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov" in Botevgrad, and Aneliya Zlatanova from the First Primary School "Vasil Levski" in Kostinbrod. 25 excellent graduates and 41 students who qualified for national rounds of olympiads, competitions, and contests were also awarded.

Certificates and statuettes were awarded to three school sports teams - national champions, the theater troupe "Fantastish" for school theater in German language from the Vocational High School "Konstantin Fotinov" in Samokov, and the Youth Fire Brigade from the Secondary School "Prof. Dr. As. Zlatarov" in Godech, seven-time winners of the National Competition "Young Firefighter". Prizes were also awarded to 21 students who placed first in the International Children's Drawing Competition "I Saw the Distress with My Own Eyes".

In the category "School of 2025" with a certificate and a marble plaque were the Vocational High School "Velizar Peev" in Svoge and the Primary School "Vasil Levski" in Pravets. Among the official guests of the ceremony were the Deputy Regional Governor of Sofia region Tanya Ivanova and the Director of the National Palace of Children Tanya Doseva, who was also the host of the event.
