Theft Solved in Aytos: Man from Karnobat Returns Part of the Stolen Items

A 21-year-old man from Karnobat stole a woman’s bag with personal items and money but was quickly identified by police and returned part of the stolen sum.
Police officers from Aytos Regional Department promptly solved a theft that occurred on the morning of May 7 in a public park in the “Strandzha” neighborhood. A 32-year-old woman from Aytos had her bag stolen, containing clothes, personal belongings, and 65 BGN in cash.
Investigators identified the perpetrator as a 21-year-old man from Karnobat. He admitted his guilt during questioning and voluntarily returned part of the stolen money.
