Lukoil has enough crude to last until mid-December and there is no reason to panic, prime minister Rumen Radev told parliament. He said there is diesel and there will continue to be.

MPs questioned him on the government's response to the attacks on commercial ships in the Black Sea on 6 and 13 October, on the risk assessment and on planned steps. They also discussed the deliberate burning of antennas for the Starlink satellite system.

Lukoil's storage depot holds 140,000 tonnes of crude oil, Radev said. Another 420,000 tonnes are waiting to be unloaded from three tankers in Bulgarian territorial waters. With these volumes, the company has enough crude until mid-December, the prime minister said.

Prices and insurance for the three tankers have already been agreed and will not change, he said.

Radev accused GERB leader Boyko Borisov of spreading panic by touring the country and claiming there will be no diesel because exports were allowed. "If there are problems with fuel, it is the panic your leader is sowing," the prime minister said.

The government has limited options for the next deliveries, Radev admitted. He said the cabinet's steps are unlikely to change insurance terms for next year.
