Plovdiv school under supervision after reports of fallen ceiling

The school in Plovdiv has been renovated under the project "Educational Infrastructure" of the Operational Program "Regions in Growth" 2014 - 2020. The grant agreement has been completed on 23.12.2022, but the Municipality of Plovdiv as a beneficiary is obliged to monitor and maintain the investment in good condition within a 5-year sustainability period.

In connection with the disseminated information about a fallen suspended ceiling, the Managing Authority of the program will carry out an extraordinary on-site inspection. The condition of the construction and installation works carried out will be assessed, and recommendations will be made to the Municipality of Plovdiv for the timely elimination of the defects that have arisen. If corrective actions are not taken, the Managing Authority may impose a financial correction on the granted financing.
