A protest is under way tonight outside the Presidency in Sofia against the Bulgarian authorities' response to drone strikes on commercial ships in the Black Sea, the organisers said.

The ships were attacked near Bulgarian territorial waters. The protest slogan is "Tomorrow it will be a Bulgarian ship".

The organisers say the state must defend Bulgarian interests more firmly and assess the possible threats clearly. The protesters are worried about national security and unhappy with how the institutions have acted since the incidents.
