Prestigious literary competition recognizes talented Bulgarian students abroad

The 17-year-old Maria Prodromova from Pomorie won first place with her story "To Fall in Love with the Moon".

The prestigious literary competition "The Magic Feather" in Paris honored the most talented student works (poetry and prose) of 688 Bulgarian children living in the country and abroad. Participants are from 18 countries, including Bulgaria, France, Italy, Spain, Greece, Austria, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. The competition is held with the financial support of the Ministry of Education and Science, within the framework of the program "Native Language and Culture Abroad".

A jury composed of Zdravka Evtimova, Katya Kremzer, Lili Spasova, and Radoslav Gizgindzhiev evaluated the most impactful works and awarded first place to seventeen-year-old Maria Prodromova from the Literary Club "Zvuniche" at the Municipal Children's Complex - Pomorie, with Mariana Marinova as the supervisor, for her story "Falling in Love with the Moon".

The Municipality of Pomorie expresses its pride and wishes Maria Prodromova ever-lasting inspiration and new peaks.
