The Apollonia Art Festival concludes in Sozopol

Today, art in Sozopol reaches its culmination as the Apollonia Art Festival draws the curtain on another edition. The organizers announced that the final day will offer the public a rich and diverse program that brings together literature, theater, cinema, and music. The events are expected to attract hundreds of visitors, ready to immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere for the last time this year.

The final marathon kicks off at 6:00 PM at the Art Gallery, where literary historian Mihail Nedelchev will present his new book, "Literary Personalism". At the same time, at 6:30 PM, the play "The Maids" will come to life on the stage of the Otets Paisii Community Center, performed by the Vratsa Drama and Puppet Theater.

The program continues with two parallel highlights at 7:00 PM. At the Art Gallery, lovers of literature will have the opportunity to meet the famous writer and poet Georgi Borisov, who will present his collection "My Stories (1973–2023)". At the same time, the Archaeological Museum will be filled with classical sounds, thanks to the talent of young musicians Lora Markova on violin and Alexandra Stichkina on piano, who will give a chamber concert.

The evening program will also offer a cinematic experience. At 8:00 PM, the Summer Cinema will host a screening of the film "Triumph" by the acclaimed directors Kristina Grozeva and Petar Valchanov, whose work always generates great interest among the audience.

The culmination of the entire event will take place at 9:00 PM on the iconic stage of the Apollonia Amphitheater. There, the music group "The Foundation" will give a special concert, joining forces with young singers. This is expected to be a spectacular finale that will send off the festival with applause and a festive mood. The large audience that traditionally fills the amphitheater for the biggest events will be able to enjoy the last great show of the year.

The Apollonia Art Festival has a long history, dating back to 1984. The event is organized by the Apollonia Foundation, established in 1991, with the main mission of preserving Bulgarian cultural traditions and supporting new talents in various fields of art. The festival is held annually in Sozopol and attracts hundreds of artists and thousands of art lovers from Bulgaria and around the world. This year's program offered visitors over 70 events, covering music, theater, literature, cinema, and fine arts, cementing its reputation as one of the most significant cultural events in the region.
