The fire department responded to 66 incidents across Bulgaria in a 24-hour period. 28 fires were extinguished, with no fatalities or injuries. The teams also conducted 34 rescue operations.

Firefighting teams responded to 66 incident reports across the country in the last 24 hours. This was announced by the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Population Protection" (GDPSPC) on its official website. The data reflects a busy 24-hour shift for firefighters, which is an example of their readiness to respond to various incidents.

During the same period, a total of 28 fires were extinguished. The positive news is that no fatalities or injuries were reported in these incidents. This underscores the effectiveness of the rapid response and professionalism of the teams, as well as the importance of preventive safety measures.

Of the total number of fires, 12 caused material damage. Six of these fires occurred in residential buildings, raising questions about the causes and the need for further safety inspections of homes. The remaining 16 fires were extinguished without material damage. This may be the result of the quick intervention of the fire teams or the localized nature of the incidents.

In addition to extinguishing fires, the firefighting teams also carried out 34 rescue activities and support operations. Five of these operations were related to accidents. This demonstrates the variety of tasks that fire teams perform, reflecting their key role in ensuring the safety of the population.
