Over the past 24 hours, 42 fires have been extinguished in Bulgaria, the GDPSN reported. Teams responded to 94 calls. There are no reports of casualties. Fire services are also carrying out rescue operations.

In the last 24 hours, 42 fires have been extinguished in the country, the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population" (GDPSPC) announced on its official website. Firefighting teams responded to a total of 94 incident calls.

The situation revealed by the reports sheds light on the tense situation in the country, where firefighters are on the front lines in the fight against the elements. Their work is of crucial importance for the preservation of the lives and property of citizens.

Fortunately, in the past 24 hours, there is no data on fatalities or injuries from the fires. This is a significant relief against the background of the intensive work of the firefighters.

Of the total number of fires, 12 caused material damage. Among them, the situation in residential buildings is particularly worrying, where a total of seven fires broke out, leading to property losses. The remaining 30 fires occurred without material damage.

In addition to extinguishing fires, the fire services also carried out 45 rescue activities and support operations. Seven of these operations were related to accidents, which highlights the need for a rapid response to road traffic accidents. Another 33 operations were aimed at providing technical assistance, thus the firefighters once again prove their versatile professional training.

Despite the workload, the fire department also received seven false calls in the past 24 hours. This additionally burdens resources and distracts attention from real emergencies, underlining the need for responsibility when reporting signals.
