On June 2, 2025, Pomorie will mark 149 years since the death of Hristo Botev and his comrades who perished in the struggle for the freedom of Bulgaria. The residents and guests of the city will gather for a solemn ceremony to honor the memory of the heroes.

On June 2, 2025 (Monday) in Pomorie, a solemn ceremony dedicated to the 149th anniversary of the death of Hristo Botev and his comrades will be held. The event will start at 11:30 am with a program prepared by the People's Community Center "Svetlina 1939". At 12:00 pm, sirens will sound in honor, after which wreaths and flowers will be laid at the bust-monument of the poet-revolutionary, located in the "St. George" district, next to the community center. The Municipality of Pomorie invites all residents and guests of the city to join in the celebration of the memory of the Bulgarian heroes who gave their lives for the freedom of the Motherland.
