Developments in the case of violence against a child in a kindergarten in Kableshkovo: Pomorie Municipality presents the chronology of events

In the kindergarten "Radost"-Kableshkovo, a resolution has been reached in the case of violence against a child, after Pomorie Municipality presented a detailed chronology of the case's development. Following coordinated actions between the Regional Department of Education (RDE)-Burgas, Pomorie Municipality, and the kindergarten, the child is enrolled in an independent preschool education organization within the same educational institution. This decision was made at the parents' request and with their application.

The Mayor of Pomorie, Ivan Aleksiev, announced the decision reached on his Facebook profile through a video address. He emphasized that these are the official facts surrounding the case. The order for the transfer was issued by the head of the RDE on October 31. The parents were officially notified of their request being granted on November 3.

The case sparked a strong reaction, with the Mayor of Pomorie criticizing Radostin Vasilev, focusing on the case with the kindergarten in Kableshkovo. The Mayor expressed the opinion that the protest actions arising from the case are aimed at creating false impressions of inaction by institutions, primarily aiming for political expression.

"The pre-trial proceedings are underway and we await the results," stated Aleksiev, emphasizing the importance of the legal process.

The chronology of events begins on January 30, when Alisha Kashikova, the mother of the 4-year-old child, filed the first complaint with Pomorie Municipality. The following day, the signal was entered into the Agency for Child Protection. In response to these actions, on February 4, Mayor Ivan Aleksiev issued an order to form a commission to investigate the case. The commission's activities started on February 5.

In March, the parents also filed a complaint with the Regional Department of Education, marking another part of the institutional response. The case gained wide public attention after a journalistic investigation, which provoked a strong wave of outrage in the country and led to protests, united under the motto "We are not silent". The protests expressed support for children's rights.

The topic also reached the parliamentary tribune, where the Member of Parliament Radostin Vasilev called for a full investigation of what happened. This provoked a reaction from Mayor Ivan Aleksiev, who sharply criticized the use of the case for political purposes.

In the course of the investigation, by order of the acting Chief Prosecutor, Borislav Sarafov, the pre-trial proceedings were transferred to the Varna Regional Prosecutor's Office. The purpose of this move was to ensure the objectivity and impartiality of the actions.

A forensic medical examination, conducted in the course of the investigation, established that there is currently no evidence of sexual violence or indecent acts against the child. However, the examination found the presence of "white lines" on the child's finger, the origin of which is still being clarified.

Despite the resolution reached with the child's transfer to an independent form of education, the pre-trial proceedings continue, and the institutions continue to await its results. Mayor Aleksiev emphasized that the protest actions were aimed at sending false impressions of institutional inaction, although the facts show coordinated efforts to resolve the case.
