The police in Sozopol seized 89 bottles of "laughing gas" from a car and a private residence.

As a result of active police actions, employees of the Sozopol Regional Police Station have seized 14 boxes containing a total of 89 bottles containing nitrous oxide, from a passenger car and a private residence in the city. The collected materials will be reported to the Burgas District Prosecutor's Office and the Regional Health Inspectorate for action within their competence.

It is recalled that a few days ago, nearly 800 "laughing gas" refills, 600 balloons and about 80 bottles for filling the same product were confiscated from nightlife establishments in Sunny Beach during specialized police operations conducted by employees of the "Economic" and "Criminal Police" departments at the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Nessebar Regional Police Station.

Checks for the illegal sale and use of "laughing gas" will continue throughout the resort season in all coastal areas, relying on the element of surprise and pre-collected information.
