Seventeen serious road accidents were registered in Bulgaria in the last 24 hours, resulting in one fatality and 18 injuries. Since the beginning of the year, there have been 4784 serious accidents with 303 deaths and 5999 injuries. Urgent improvement of road safety is necessary.

A grim statistical summary of road accidents in Bulgaria was released by the Ministry of Interior.

According to the data published on the ministry_q_s website, 17 serious road accidents were registered nationwide in the last 24 hours.

The tragic result is one fatality and 18 injured.

The severity of these figures highlights the constant danger on Bulgarian roads and the need for continuous efforts to improve road safety.

Sofia

Sofia was not excluded from the grim statistics.

Two serious accidents and 21 minor incidents were registered in the capital.

As a result of these incidents, two people sustained injuries.

The scale of these events, even within a single city, illustrates the widespread problem of road accidents in Bulgaria.

National Statistics

The complete picture presented by the Ministry of Interior is even more alarming.

A total of 4784 serious road accidents have been registered since the beginning of the year.

The figure is staggering.

303 human lives have been lost, and 5999 people have been injured.

This shocking number of victims and injured is a clear signal of serious problems in the field of road safety, requiring immediate and effective measures.

Analyzing the causes of these accidents, as well as the effectiveness of existing measures, is essential for developing strategies to reduce such tragedies.

Road safety is a priority that requires serious and comprehensive attention from institutions, as well as responsibility from every road user.
