The political party "Velichie" has submitted the required number of signatures to the Central Election Commission (CEC) to participate in the presidential and vice-presidential elections scheduled for October 25. "Velichie" is a party with pro-Russian and Eurosceptic positions, whose leader, Ivelin Mihaylov, is among those accused in the prosecutor's office investigation into the "Historical Park." Russia has been waging a full-scale war against Ukraine since February 2022, and both the EU and Bulgaria support Ukraine and the sanctions against Moscow.

The party's press office clarified that they had collected nearly 7,000 signatures. "We would not have been able to participate in the presidential elections without these serious efforts," stated "Velichie."

The official announcement included expressions of gratitude to the volunteers involved in processing the documents. The party declared that they are now at the starting line of the presidential campaign and wished their candidates success.
