Developments in the Burgas arrests case

The regional coordinator of DPS in Burgas, Hristo Shirokov, and the director of the water supply company "ViK" – Burgas, Tsvetan Mirchev, have been released from custody. The information was confirmed by BNT following interrogations.

We remind you that yesterday, Hristo Shirokov was detained for 24 hours as part of a large-scale investigation into abuses at the state water company.

At the moment, it is clarified that Shirokov was questioned in the capacity of a witness. Alongside him, the director of "ViK" – Burgas, Tsvetan Mirchev, was also summoned for questioning at the GDBOP (General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime). Both are currently at liberty.
