Fiery Wave: A Series of Fires Shook the Burgas Region for Three Days

A series of fire incidents shook the Burgas region within three consecutive days, with local fire services mobilized for quick and effective actions.

On August 8 around noon, employees from the Regional Police Department - Ruen received a signal about a fire between the villages of Rudina and Sini Rid. The fire incident destroyed 25 decares of agricultural land planted with lavender, owned by a private company. Two teams from the Regional Fire Safety and Civil Protection Service in Aytos successfully extinguished the fire, and preliminary inspections did not reveal signs of arson.

The next day, on August 9 around 6:20 PM, a signal was received at the Regional Police Department - Aytos about burning dry grass and bushes in a wooded area near the village of Dryankovets. Initially, one fire truck with two firefighters was sent, who identified several active fire sources. Subsequently, the fire grew and engulfed an agricultural building for animals, a residential building, and a shed, which required sending additional two teams.

On the morning of August 10 around 12:30 PM, the Regional Police Department - Sozopol received a signal about a burning caravan in the "Mapi" area. The owner, a 43-year-old man, found that the fire started from the back of the vehicle and quickly engulfed the entire structure. A team from the Regional Fire Safety and Civil Protection Service in Sozopol successfully extinguished the fire, and a pre-trial proceeding was initiated.

The same day a little later, around 2:27 PM, a signal was also received at the Regional Police Department - Nesebar about a fire in the land of the village of Tinkovo. The fire incident was near an agricultural cooperative and the "Sunny Day-6" complex, and quickly spread over large areas of dry grass. Several teams from the Regional Fire Safety and Civil Protection Service in Nesebar brought the situation under control, managing to prevent its spread to neighboring buildings and structures.

Investigations into all incidents are ongoing, and at this moment no human casualties or significant material damage beyond directly affected areas have been established.
