The regional road administrations are removing illegal advertising boards along the roads.

The road services in the country will take urgent actions to remove illegally placed advertising boards, banners and other commercial messages located within the scope of the republican roads. This order is issued by the Chairman of the Management Board of the Road Infrastructure Agency, Eng. Yordan Valchev, who sets a deadline until June 13 for carrying out the necessary inspections and removing all unauthorized advertising facilities.

This measure aims to ensure the safety of traffic on the roads, as illegally placed advertising boards can be a prerequisite for road accidents. The regional road administrations will be obliged to remove all such facilities, whether they are located directly on the road facilities or in the vicinity of the republican road network.

The undertaking of these urgent actions comes after multiple signals and complaints from citizens who have noticed the increasing number of illegal advertising facilities on the roads. They create visual pollution and potential danger for road users, so their removal is crucial for ensuring safe and smooth road traffic.
