New guidelines for the safety of children in public places

The State Agency for Child Protection, in cooperation with many state institutions, has created a Practical Guide "Guidelines for the risks threatening the life and health of children and for ensuring their safety in public places". The guide contains specific instructions for action and prevention of risks for children in crisis situations, as well as guidelines for explaining the risk factors to the children themselves.

The document also includes a description of the legal framework regulating the conditions and procedure for specialized protection of children in public places, as well as the administrative and penal provisions in case of violation of certain regulatory obligations. The guide will be presented to the general public at a press conference organized by the State Agency for Child Protection on May 28, 2025 at 12:00 pm in the building of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.

The Practical Guide has been developed with the participation of many state institutions, including the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Environment and Waters and others. The goal is to ensure a comprehensive approach to guaranteeing the safety of children in public places.
