Direct contact with tourists and businesses at the seaside

The Ministry of Tourism is taking decisive steps to improve tourism services by opening field offices in major Black Sea resorts – "Golden Sands" and "Sunny Beach". The goal is for the state to be closer to the problems of businesses and vacationers, with reports being resolved promptly on the spot.

"Direct contact is the key to improving the quality of the services offered," emphasized the Minister of Tourism, Ilin Dimitrov.

National campaign "Bulgaria Celebrates"

In parallel with the control measures, the department is launching the large-scale campaign "Bulgaria Celebrates". The initiative aims to promote festivals in each of the country's 28 districts through:

  • Specially created video clips;
  • Audio materials for social media;
  • Active digital presence to attract new visitors.

Expectations for the end of the summer season

Despite a slower start to the summer, data from the Unified Tourist Information System show that the lag has been made up. With high occupancy in accommodation facilities and a favorable forecast for September, the sector expects to end the active season with a slight growth compared to last year.
