Bulgaria's innovation and digital transformation ministry has launched a series called "E-gishe" ("E-counter") to show people which public services they can get online instead of in person, the ministry said on its official Viber channel.
The series kicks off with the October 25 presidential and vice-presidential election, for which six services are now available online. They sit under "Civil rights and legal order/Elections" on the e-government portal eGov.bg.
People can go online to register to vote at their current address, request a mobile ballot box or get added to the voter list. The site also lets them fix mistakes or gaps in the voter list, take their name off the list of struck-off voters, or remove it from that list if they had applied to vote abroad.
The campaign's slogan is "Government services can be fast, easy and convenient." eGov.bg also lists the other services people and businesses can request online.
The ministry says it will add more online services in future editions of "E-gishe."
