New Bachelor's Program at Sofia University Burgas: Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching - Korean

From this autumn, Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" is opening a new bachelor's program "Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching - Korean" at the Branch in Burgas. The program is part of the Faculty of Classical and New Philologies. It combines in-depth language training with professional training in teaching methodology, so that at the end of the training students will be fluent in Korean and possess competencies for its teaching.

The new specialty is the third bachelor's program of the Faculty of Classical and New Philologies at the Branch - Burgas, after the programs "MFLT - Japanese" and "MFLT - Chinese" were opened in 2025, in which students are already studying in Burgas.

Candidates will have the opportunity to register for ranking within a period from 08:30 on June 12 to 17:00 on July 2, 2026, and the procedure for registration and submission of documents for ranking is electronized and is carried out only through the platform .

The results of the first stage of ranking will be announced on July 9, 2026, and the results of the second and final stage - on July 21, 2026.

Training in the new bachelor's programs in Burgas will begin in October 2026.
