Leadership change in the Burgas police

The Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Burgas has a new leader. At an official meeting with the management staff, Deputy Minister of Interior Kaloyan Kaloyanov introduced Senior Commissioner Hristo Ichev as the new acting director.

The appointment was made by an order of the Minister of Interior as part of the rotations within the system.

Who is Hristo Ichev?

  • He has many years of experience in the structures of the Ministry of Interior.
  • He has been part of the department's system since 2000.

We remind you that the previous acting director, Senior Commissioner Nikolay Nenkov, was appointed to the post in March by an order of the ministry's previous leadership.
