Floods in Elenite: Properties and Claims After the Disaster

Property owners in Elenite are discussing damages following the floods. They are demanding urgent measures and a collective lawsuit due to a lack of support. Key issues include the restoration of utilities.

One month after the devastating floods in the Elenite holiday village, property owners gathered for a general meeting. The aim was to discuss the extent of the damage caused by the disaster and to take coordinated action to overcome the consequences.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of growing disappointment and anger among those affected. Residents of complexes that have not yet received Act 16 announced their intention to file a collective lawsuit. They express their conviction that the state has abdicated its obligations, leaving them to deal with the crisis on their own. No assistance has been provided either by the landowners in the area, or by the Municipality of Nessebar, or by the central government.

Among the most pressing problems identified by the victims is the restoration of basic utilities. They insist on the urgent restoration of water supply, electricity and sewerage in their homes in order to return to normal life.
