More than 43% of Bulgarians say risky driving is the most common cause of road crashes, a national poll by the Myara agency for BNT shows.
Poor roads come second, with 35% of those polled naming them.
Lack of checks or weak checks, the quality of cars and the law follow.
Bulgaria remains among the first in the EU for road deaths.
