On July 7, the country will be hot, with temperatures of 27–32° and an unstable atmosphere. In Burgas, it will be around 29°, the sea – around 24°, and swimming – under a yellow flag.

Burgas and the region: hot, with brief rain and pleasant sea

On July 7, in Burgas and the region, the weather will be mostly warm and summery. The maximum air temperature in the city will reach about 29°, and the morning minimum will be around 19°. During the day, "cloudy, brief rain" is expected, but sunny hours will prevail, especially in the first half of the day.

The probability of precipitation is increased – about 60–70%, with the forecast amount being small (under 1 mm) and brief showers expected, mainly in the afternoon. The wind will be moderate, with speeds of about 6–7 m/s, mainly from southern and southeastern directions, which will bring warm air and a typical sea breeze.

The temperature of the sea water near Burgas in the first half of July is about 24°, which provides pleasant conditions for swimming. Sunshine in the area on this date is among the longest – according to NIMH statistics, up to 13 hours daily.

Given the hot weather, pleasant water, and brief but possible afternoon showers, the preliminary safety assessment for swimming in the Burgas area for July 7 is a "yellow flag" – swimming is allowed, but with caution, especially upon the appearance of storm clouds and stronger wind gusts.

Sofia and the region: warm, unstable, with cumulus clouds and precipitation

In Sofia on July 7, the weather will be warm, but unstable. The morning will begin with a mostly clear or slightly cloudy sky and temperatures around 16°–18°. During the day, maximum temperatures will reach about 28°–30°.

According to NIMH data, the air mass around July 7–8 is unstable. Cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will develop, and in Western and Central Bulgaria – including the Sofia field – brief precipitation and thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon. The wind will be light to moderate, mainly from the west-northwest.

In the Sofia area, a swimming flag assessment does not apply, but it is recommended to avoid swimming in open water bodies during thunderstorms and not to stand in open areas during strong thunderstorm activity.

Eastern and Western Bulgaria: hot, with local afternoon storms

On July 7, in most of the country, the weather will be hot, with average maximum temperatures between 27° and 32°, above the climatic norm for July. In Western and Central Bulgaria, the atmosphere will be more unstable – cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will develop, and in some places, there will be brief precipitation, thunderstorms, and possible hail.

In Eastern Bulgaria, including Dobrudja and part of the Ludogorie region, the weather will be more stable – more sun, less frequent precipitation, and light clouds in the afternoon. Temperatures there will range between 28° and 32°, with temperatures on the Black Sea coast being slightly lower due to the influence of the sea.

The wind in the western regions will be light to moderate from the west-northwest, and in the eastern regions – from the northeast and east. For the interior of the country, the safety assessment for swimming in rivers and reservoirs is a "yellow flag" – swim with caution and avoid the water during thunderstorms.

In the mountains: pleasant temperatures, but with precipitation and storms in the afternoon

In the mountain regions on July 7, the morning will be relatively calm, with broken clouds and good conditions for early hikes. Temperatures at about 1500 meters will be around 18°–20°, and at 2000 meters – around 12°–14°.

In the afternoon, over the Balkan Mountains, Rila, Pirin, and the Rhodopes, cumulonimbus clouds will develop, with likely brief but sometimes intense precipitation, thunder, and local flooding in ravines. The wind will be light to moderate from the west-northwest, and may strengthen along the ridges.

For mountain lakes and reservoirs, the swimming assessment remains a "red flag" – swimming is not recommended due to the low water temperature, rapid changes in conditions, and increased risk during thunderstorms. Tourists should plan routes so that they are outside the high parts of the mountains in the late afternoon.

Black Sea coast: sunny and hot, with a slight risk of brief showers

On the Black Sea coast on July 7, the weather will generally be suitable for the beach. The morning will be mostly sunny, with few clouds, and maximum air temperatures will range between 26° and 29°. In the Varna and northern coast area, about 27° are expected, and around Burgas and the southern coast – up to 29°.

The temperature of the sea water along the coast will be between 23° and 24°. The wind will be light to moderate from the east-southeast, and the sea state – slight, about 2 degrees. In the afternoon, brief, isolated showers are possible, mainly in the interior, with the probability of rain being lower on the coast itself.

Given the hot weather, pleasant sea water, and relatively low risk of precipitation, the general safety assessment for swimming on the Black Sea coast for July 7 is a "yellow flag" – swimming is permitted, but with caution upon the appearance of storm clouds and stronger wind, and in compliance with the lifeguards' instructions.
