Marti, Victim of ATV Accident in Sunny Beach, Discharged

Four-year-old Marti, victim of a tragic ATV accident in "Sunny Beach", has been discharged from the Sofia hospital "Pirogov" and is now at home. The fate of little Marti, who suffered severe injuries, was the subject of universal attention and sympathy.

The child, who spent a long time in a coma, is returning to life, albeit with a long and difficult road ahead. He will undergo rehabilitation, which will be critical for his recovery. The tragic accident that turned the life of Marti and his family upside down happened on August 14 in the resort "Sunny Beach". Then 18-year-old Nikola Burgazliev, driving an ATV, hit five pedestrians, including three children. Witnesses to this horrifying scene were many of the vacationers in the area, who were deeply shocked by what happened.

In the hospital in Burgas, 35-year-old Hristina, Marti's mother, and the little boy himself were admitted with severe injuries. Unfortunately, the young woman passed away after nearly three weeks spent in brain death, leaving a deep void in the hearts of her relatives. Marti was transported by air ambulance to "Pirogov" hospital in Sofia, where doctors made immense efforts to save him.

Thanks to the medical team, Marti was brought out of a coma. Now, after months of suffering and a fight for life, little Marti is with his father and his younger brother. The atmosphere at home is likely changed, but the hope for the child's full recovery is alive.

The ATV driver, Nikola Burgazliev, remains in custody in Burgas, detained with a permanent measure of restraint. He is accused of intentionally causing death after using drugs. His blood test showed the presence of marijuana, which aggravates the charges against him. The case continues, and society awaits justice for the victims of this tragedy.
