A series of criminal and road incidents marked the last days of June in the Burgas region, with police officers from various district departments taking quick and effective actions.
On June 26 around 9:30 PM, officers from the First District Police Department - Burgas conducted a check on two men on Tsar Simeon I Street, during which they seized narcotic substances. Specifically, 10 grams of cannabis and 10 grams of amphetamine were found in the home of a 40-year-old man from the village of Orlintsi. The two suspects were detained for 24 hours.
Another incident was recorded on June 27 around 11:35 AM, when a 38-year-old Burgas resident shot a seagull with a pneumatic pistol in the Bratya Miladinovi complex. The perpetrator made full confessions and voluntarily surrendered his weapon.
A series of drunk driving cases were documented on the same day. On the road to Sveti Vlas, a 32-year-old Moldovan citizen was detained with 2.33 per mille of alcohol, while in Sozopol, a 43-year-old woman crashed alone with 2.58 per mille. A similar case was registered in Pomorie, where a 38-year-old man from Sofia was stopped with 2.95 per mille.
Another interesting case was the theft from a restaurant tip box in Primorsko, committed by two Uzbek citizens who subsequently returned the stolen 130 leva and 25 dollars.
Particularly dramatic was the incident near the village of Tinkovo, where a 73-year-old Swiss citizen threatened a young couple with a firearm. During the subsequent police check, multiple weapons and ammunition were seized.
Road accidents during the period included several incidents of varying severity. At the exit of Aheloy, a chain collision between a Mercedes and Ford Transit was registered, with both drivers receiving minor injuries. Another case was a solo crash of a Seat Altea near Aytos, in which an 18-year-old girl was injured.
Two fatal cases were reported - one at the North Central Beach in Primorsko, where a 66-year-old man from Svoge drowned, and another at the Nessebar beach, where a 64-year-old man from the village of Bistritsa was found.
Police services continue investigations into all described cases, taking the necessary procedural actions.
