On May 14 at around 6:50 AM, on the road between Polski Izvor and Cherni Vrah, a Toyota Corolla registered in Burgas and driven by a 31-year-old local resident veered off the road and overturned due to excessive speed and loss of control. The driver was hospitalized with chest trauma. A breathalyzer test showed a blood alcohol level of 1.62‰.
On May 16 at 11:24 AM, on the Karnobat – Dragantsi road (km 5+400), a Scania R 450 truck with a trailer, registered in Sofia and driven by a 41-year-old man, hit a roadside barrier and crossed into the opposite lane. The incident caused significant damage to both the vehicle and the roadside infrastructure.
Later that day, at around 12:29 PM on Odryn Street in Burgas (near the “SOMAT” intersection), a Dacia Sandero driven by a 22-year-old woman from Marinka crashed into the rear of a Mercedes C 200, driven by a 48-year-old woman. Both drivers and a 50-year-old passenger sustained concussions. Two were released for home recovery, one was hospitalized.
On May 17 at 5:50 PM, on km 112+100 of the Burgas – Varna road, a Honda Civic with Ukrainian registration driven by a 37-year-old Ukrainian citizen lost control on wet pavement and crashed into a parked Peugeot 207 driven by a 71-year-old woman from Nesebar. No injuries were reported, but both cars and a 12-meter barrier sustained significant damage.
At around 8:44 PM the same day, on the road between Izvorishte and Mirolubovo, a 42-year-old woman from Gaberovo lost control of her Mercedes 220 and rolled over several times due to road unevenness and excessive speed. She was hospitalized with broken ribs and collarbone.

Between May 14 and 17, several traffic accidents occurred in the Burgas area, resulting in injuries and significant vehicle damage. Causes included speeding, poor road conditions, and alcohol use
