A Karnobat incident with an electric vehicle resulted in serious injuries for a 10-year-old child.

On May 25, 2023, around 4:07 PM on Asen Zlatаrov Street No. 28 in Karnobat, a 33-year-old man from the city, driving an individual electric vehicle, with his 10-year-old son as a passenger, lost control of the vehicle, resulting in both of them falling to the ground. The boy has a skull fracture and has been admitted for treatment in the Intensive Care Unit of the University Hospital - Burgas, and his condition is life-threatening.

A pre-trial investigation has been initiated in the case. The driver of the electric vehicle was tested for alcohol and drug use, and both tests had negative results.
