There will be no joint candidacy with GERB

Co-chair of "Yes, Bulgaria" Ivaylo Mirchev categorically rejected the possibility of a joint party presidential candidacy with GERB. According to him, the future contender must be a figure who unites the deeply divided Bulgarian society.

"We have never discussed a party candidacy," Mirchev stated at a briefing.

Synchrony between DB and PP

Mirchev confirmed that "Democratic Bulgaria" (DB), "We Continue the Change" (PP), and the Forum for Democratic Action are on the same page regarding the upcoming elections. Organizational meetings are currently underway, and official news is expected soon.

  • Denial of a coalition with GERB for the presidential vote.
  • Work process for a unified nomination with PP.
  • Clarity regarding gas contracts and "Turkish Petroleum".

When asked whether Andrey Gyurov would be the candidate, Mirchev clarified that the contender himself will announce his decision when the time comes.
