Evidence of aircraft signal jamming is available, confirmed Minister of Interior Ivan Demerdzhiev during a briefing in Burgas. He specified that these findings were the result of a joint inspection by officials from the State Agency for National Security (SANS) and experts from the Communications Regulation Commission, conducted in response to an inquiry regarding the archives of the State Enterprise "Air Traffic Services Authority".

According to the Minister, although the owners of the commercial entities in question are not directly linked, an in-depth analysis of the circumstances points to one individual – Ramzig Chakaryan, known by the nickname Ami. Demerdzhiev added that while such connections are not immediate, they can be inferred by tracing a number of details that, until recently, no one had the courage to investigate.

The Minister recalled that in the past, a police patrol was stationed for a long time in front of an establishment in the capital's Dragalevtsi district, but he firmly assured that such times are now in the past. The situation was also commented on by President Rumen Radev during a press conference at the Council of Ministers, dedicated to the presentation of the "Justice" section of the Management Program of the Republic of Bulgaria 2026 - 2030. He confirmed that the authorities have established the identity of the owner of the property and the SUV on which the discovered jammer was installed.

The Ministry of Interior officially added to the information that an SUV equipped with elements of a professional signal jamming system, linked to the case of the GPS jammer in Sofia, has been seized.
