A drugged driver caused a spectacular crash in the garden in front of UMBAL-Burgas shortly after noon, noted from the scene of the incident. Eyewitnesses tell of a horrifying sight as ambulances and police cars arrive at the scene of the accident.
According to police information, a 33-year-old man, driving a car at high speed on "Struga" Blvd., ran a red light at the intersection with "Stefan Stambolov" Blvd. It seems that the driver ignored the road signs.
Initially, he hit another car that was moving according to the rules, passing a green light. After this collision, the offender's car literally flew off the road to stop in the grassy area next to the sidewalk. The view in front of the hospital was shocking, with car parts scattered everywhere.
Police officers tested the driver for alcohol and drugs. The results of the drug test showed the presence of amphetamine and methamphetamine in his body.
By a miracle, no one was injured in this incident. This is a true stroke of luck considering the dramatic circumstances.
