Fourth-grade students demonstrate a wide range of mathematical skills in a national external assessment.

Today, the Ministry of Education and Science published the correct answers to the math test conducted as part of the national external assessment for 4th grade. Students solved a total of 25 tasks, including 16 with a multiple-choice answer, 4 with a short free-response, 4 with an extended free-response, and one with a complex extended free-response. The test assessed a wide range of mathematical knowledge and skills - from working with numbers and calculations to finding the perimeter and area of geometric figures, describing real-life situations with mathematical models, logical and spatial thinking, as well as skills for interpreting information presented in different ways. The results of the national external assessment for 4th grade will be announced by June 12.
