Tsarevo Receives Funding for Social Services and Culture

Tsarevo Municipality has won funding for two new projects that promise to transform both social services and cultural life in the region. The press center of Tsarevo Municipality announced this important news, which is expected to have a tangible impact on the lives of local residents.

The first project, approved for funding, focuses on the modernization of the Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration (CSRI). The funds, allocated under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) under procedure BG-RRP-13.009, will be used to purchase an electric car and build a charging station. The total amount of funding amounts to 113,600 leva.

The goal of this project is twofold. First, it aims to increase energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint in the provision of social services. Second, the use of an electric vehicle is expected to improve the mobility and access of vulnerable groups of the population to the necessary social support. The city hopes to make social services more easily accessible to all its residents.

The press center of the administration emphasized that through this investment, Tsarevo Municipality reinforces its commitment to sustainable development and social responsibility. This is a sign of progress and care for the future of the municipality.

The second approved project is aimed at the sphere of culture and provides for the creation and holding of new cultural events and festivals. This project, called "Scene by the sea: Enrichment and development of local policies for culture in Tsarevo municipality", will be funded again under the NRRP, under procedure BG-RRP-11.022 – "New generation of local policies for culture for small municipalities".

The total value of the project reaches 195,399.36 leva including VAT. Of this amount, 156,319.49 leva is a grant, and 39,079.87 leva represents the municipality's own contribution. This clearly shows Tsarevo Municipality's commitment to the cultural development of the community.

Within the framework of the project, two key cultural events are planned for December 2025 – a Christmas festival and a celebration of the city of Tsarevo (Nikulden). In addition, additional cultural events with an innovative character will be organized. The atmosphere in the city is expected to change with the upcoming celebrations, which will unite people.

BT reminds that this is another successful attraction of funds by Tsarevo Municipality. Prior to this, the municipality implemented projects in the social sphere under the program "Development of human resources" 2021–2027. This success reinforces the municipality's position as an effective administrative center capable of providing funding for important initiatives.
